DigiElch 4.x - Supporting Material

The following Lessons describe the use of DigiElch in the form of "step-by-step instructions" which are not included in the DigiElch 4 - installer.
The descriptions refer to Build 2.704 (or higher) of DigiElch 4.

Lesson0.pdf
This lesson demonstrates most of the basic features of DigiElch such as running a simulation, copying & pasting simulation objects, saving and exporting of simulation data, customizing colors and screen display, zooming the screen display, retrieving the coordinates of individual current points etc.
Lesson1.pdf
This lesson demonstrates the use of DigiElch for running a C-Profile-Simulation (i.e. a simulation showing simultaneously how both the current curve and the associated concentration profiles are changing as function of the electrode potential). It also explains most of the commands available in the C-Profiles Menu and the options for customizing the appearance of the screen display and the drawing of the concentration profiles.
Lesson2.zip
The zip-archive contains CVs measured with different scan rates using an instrument that does not support DigiElch’s use-format. The Lesson shows in the form of a "step-by-step-description" what needs to be done for setting up a data fitting project based on such files.
Lesson3.zip
This lesson demonstrates how the potential steps used during data fitting can be individually specified for each target file. Experimental CVs are usually measured with small potential steps (less than or equal to 1 mV).  DigiElch 4 enables the user to select fitting potential steps which are different from the experimental ones.
 
Lesson4.zip
This lesson demonstartes how current points in target curves can be excluded in a fitting project. This option becomes important if the current measured in a certain region is known to be affected by artefacts which cannot be reproduced on the basis of the simulation model.
